Line and Shape.
For the line and shape assignment, I focused on a few different perspectives in my first photo it is a perspective from below, my second being straight on, third being more of a side on point of view, fourth and fifth being more straight on, and my sixth picture appearing that it was taken from slightly above. I shot most of these subjects from close range to get the most details of line and shape. My photos are a mix of both horizontal and vertical, photos one and three being vertical, while two, four, five, and six are horizontal. i considered the law of thirds in some of my pictures, mostly being in photos two, five, and six. I think my most dynamic photo is my first one which is of the sky scraper. the vier will focus on the panels from inside the building first and because of the point of view will draw their attention up the sky scraper.
Power Lines.
In this assignment I went out and took pictures of utility poles and power lines. While taking these pictures I considered the law of thirds in the first picture because of the perspective, with the biggest tower in one third the medium sized one in the second third and the smallest tower in the third third. in my second picture i considered the law of thirds with the vertical power lines in one part, the utility pole as the central focus then the horizontal lines in the final third. My first photo is most dynamic because of the fact that all of the lines leads the viewer's eye from one end of the image to the other. My fourth photograph has good organic and geometric shapes because the angles that the lines are in make shapes like triangles and rectangles and the trees in the background add organic shapes. Lastly I feel that my first image best satisfies the assignment. I best considered the law of thirds with the three towers and the excessive amount of power lines in the picture makes it dynamic and leads the viewer's eye from one aspect of the picture to the next.
