Image 1:
I chose this image because I liked how it gets a different viewpoint of the building. This is compositionally dynamic because of the different point of view and the different geometric patterns. The viewers eye would move from the bottom of the image and across the image because the lines allow the viewers eye to move around the image. I took depth of field into consideration when taking this.
Image 2:
I chose this image because I liked the vibrance of the orange in the pinwheel. while it is not very compositionally dynamic having the photo centered puts focus on the pin wheel as a whole. The viewer's eye moves around the pinwheel because the alternating colors of the grey and orange. I took shutter speed into consideration when taking this.
Image 3:
I chose this picture of the power lines because I liked how the different elements of it come together. This is compositionally dynamic because of the normal and organic lines seen in the photo. the viewers eye would move across the image following the lines in the photo. I took line and shape into consideration when taking this.
Image 4:
I chose this photo because I liked how I composed it with the position and the focus on my shoes. This is compositionally dynamic because one third of the image is out of focus while the other two thirds is focused on my shoe. the viewers eye would be mostly focused on the in focus part especially on the vibrant red of my shoe. I took aperture and depth of field into consideration when taking this.
Image 5:
I chose this photo because It was my favorite portrait. It is compositionally dynamic because of the central focus on his face. The viewers eye would move across the image because half the photo is lighter then it splits down the middle and the other half is shadowed. I took the positioning of light into consideration when I took this.
Image 6:
I chose this image because I liked how I captured the boardwalk and trees and sky all together to create a unifying picture. The viewers eye moves across the image down the path of the board walk and even across the trees / other plants in the picture. It is compositionally dynamic because I used the law of thirds to capture different aspects in the scene. I took aperture and depth of field into consideration when taking this.
